You may be lucky enough to hear these sounds, look around and protect yourself from the incoming danger. But close to 18 million people in India can't, as everyday they face problems most of us cannot even understand
This project aspires to make their life a little bit easier
How do we plan to do that?
The final vision of the product will look a little something like this: A smart watch, worn by the user would trigger a mobile application upon sensing a sudden sound in the environment. The app will classify the sound and send the user a notification, as well as send the result to the band. A separate team worked on making the smart watch inhouse, while we created the application to classify the sound
